How mad is this, seven suspected illegal immigrants believed to have escaped from a lorry on the Isle of Sheppey have been released on bail.
aesicaA police helicopter searched from the air whilst police on the ground spent an hour and a half searching the town after reports people had jumped off a lorry in Queenborough, Isle of Sheppey, Kent around 10.15am on Friday.
UK Border Agency said eleven people – three women and eight men – from Iran, Iraq and Afghanistan were arrested on suspicion of immigration offences. Seven have been released on immigration bail.

Let’s sum up, these seven illegals who we don’t know who they actually are or what they got up to in their own countries and were smuggled into the UK in a lorry are free to disappear into our cities. Isn’t that their goal in coming to our country?

One suspect remains in immigration detention and three have been assessed as minors and passed into the care of social services at the expense of Kent taxpayers. “Assessed as minors”, probably young looking adults more like. I still remember a case of a so called child asylum seeker sitting in one of our local secondary schools with a beard.

Apparently the lorry was delivering to the Aesica pharmaceutical factory in North Road, Queenborough. Police said the driver, a 51-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of assisting illegal entry to the UK. He has been bailed pending further enquiries until Friday.

Kumar’s Hungarian bride was questioned by officers and released, but her groom was later charged with possessing a false identity document. At a hearing at Isleworth crown court on Thursday 13th June he pleaded guilty and a judge sentenced him to 5 months in prison.

He too has been given the chance to clear off to work illegally somewhere else. A Romanian man, aged 41, who was in the UK legally but who had no right to work was given a fixed penalty of £1000. Another sham marriage foiled.

eupakistanA man from Pakistan has been arrested just moments before he was due to take part in a suspected sham marriage in Liverpool. Officers attended the register office, St George’s Hall in Liverpool just before 10:00am on Monday 10th May.
Just before the ceremony was due to begin, officers intervened and the 25-year-old man, who had been living at an address in Liverpool, was arrested after checks revealed he was in the country illegally having overstayed his visa.
He had been due to marry a 20-year-old Hungarian woman, who was interviewed by officers and later released. How come she wasn’t arrested for aiding and abetting a sham marriage. The wanna-be ‘groom’ has been detained pending his removal from the UK.
The operation was carried out with the full co-operation of the superintendent registrar.

Second time caught with illegal workers

Four immigration offenders have been arrested by officers at a restaurant in Driffield.
Officers visited Muskan Spice in Market Place on Wednesday evening last week (5th June). Checks revealed that four Bangladeshi men had no permission to be in the UK.
Three of the men, aged 40, 29, and 23 had entered the UK illegally. A 35-year-old had overstayed his visa. All four men were taken into immigration detention where they remain pending their removal from the UK. Speaking about overstaying, I’ll like to know how many foreign Olympic participants are still in the UK. Anyway three of the men were encountered working illegally and the business now faces a potential fine of up to £30,000 – £10,000 per illegal worker. This isn’t Muskan Spice first time they’ve been caught employing illegals. A previous visit to Muskan Spice in February last year resulted in the arrest of two other immigration offenders. A fine of only £5,000 was imposed on the business for employing them. Obvious not much of a deterrent then?

Nigerians involved again

358sc1tThree Nigerian nationals have been jailed after an investigation by UKBA officers into illegal working and sham marriage in Potters Bar and Walthamstow.
Henrietta Samugana, aged 32, her husband Oluwatobi Adegbenro, aged 36, and his brother Olaseni Adegbenro, aged 30, were sentenced to 12 months, 8 months and 12 months respectively when they appeared at St Albans Crown Court on 10th June.
They had pleaded guilty to the charges against them at an earlier hearing. Samugana admitted using a false identity card and fraud, Oluwatobi Adegnbenro and Olasenie Adegbenro both admitted possession of false identity documents with intent and seeking leave to remain in the UK by deception. All three had also overstayed their visas.
The trio had been arrested by officers from the immigration crime team on 14th January following raids at two addresses in Barnet Road, Potters Bar, and Yunus Khan Close, Walthamstow – at a flat where all three were living.
Samugana had used a fake Dutch identity card in the name Carina Centeno to fraudulently obtain employment as a support worker at a care home.
Subsequent investigations found that three applications had been made in the name of Carina Centeno asking that her husband, Olaseni Adegbenro, be granted UK residency. Each application, most recently in November last year, had been refused.
Officers recovered a fraudulent UK driving license in the name Oluwatobi Adegbenro from the Walthamstow property too.

moss682a_1268022aOfficers have made five arrests and seized £15,000 in cash during a series of raids in Croydon, famous for it’s face lift.
Acting on intelligence, officers visited Game On, George Street, Croydon, at 13:00 on Tuesday 28th May, questioning individuals to check if they had the right to be in the UK.
They arrested a 31-year-old Pakistani man who had overstayed his visa. During a later search for a travel document at his home address in Eastney Road, Croydon, our officers found more than £15,000 in cash hidden in suitcases. The money was seized under Proceeds of Crime Act powers.
A 25-year-old man also working in the shop initially gave false details. Further questioning by officers found him to be an Afghan national who had overstayed his visa.

At about 17:10 on Friday 31st May, our officers visited Babylon Inn, North End, Croydon, where they arrested a 24-year-old Chinese man who had overstayed his visa.

Four people have been arrested following an immigration enforcement operation targeting houses with so-called ‘beds in sheds’ in Hounslow.
On the morning of Thursday 23rd May, UKBA officers, along with housing officers from Hounslow Council and the Metropolitan Police, visited a number of addresses in the Taunton Avenue, Staines Road and Bath Road areas suspected of having illegally occupied outbuildings.
At an address in Taunton Avenue, Hounslow, officers arrested four Indian men, three for entering the UK illegally, one for over-staying his visa. All were detained and now face removal from the UK.
Landlords of the properties in Staines Road and Bath Road will now face investigation by Hounslow Council’s rogue landlords team.

I spotted this ‘Anti-Raids Network’ website whilst seeing if I could get more nitty gritty on these Beds in Sheds raids. This organisation seems to be doing its level best to keep illegal immigrants in our country so they can take our jobs and live in sheds with crooked landlords making ‘shed loads of money from’ them.
Anti-Raids Network might be better employed stopping old people being turfed out of their homes of decades because they have a bedroom not in use. Something that wouldn’t need to happen if our country hadn’t been deliberately overcrowded with immigrants.

Sham marriage.

eunigeriaA couple have been jailed for attempting to enter into a sham marriage at Swindon register office.
Nigerian national Mukaila Abijo, 27, and Portuguese “bride” Vanessa Mendes, 21, were arrested by UKBA officers moments before their ceremony was due to take place on Monday 11th February.
They were called in after register office staff raised suspicions about the couple, who did not seem to speak the same language and knew very little about each other.
Investigators discovered that Mendes had flown into the UK the day before the ceremony and had a return flight to Portugal booked for that evening.
Abijo, who lived at Pottle Close in Botley, Oxford, had paid around six thousand pounds to go through the ceremony and hoped to gain leave to remain in the UK after marrying an EEA national. Both later pleaded guilty to perjury and conspiring to breach immigration laws.
During a hearing at Swindon Crown Court on Friday 24th May Abijo was sentenced to 2 years in prison, while Mendes was jailed for 16 months. Both will face deportation at the end of their sentence.

All those arrested apart from the 31-year-old are in immigration detention pending removal from the UK. The 31-year-old has been placed on immigration bail while steps are taken to remove him. Oh for goodness sake why are illegals allowed free to go and work somewhere else!

So much for Toff/Tories stopping benefits for immigrants

The EU is taking Britain to court over immigrants’ entitlement to benefits. The European Commission is convinced Britain is breaking EU rules by not allowing nationals from member states the same access to benefits as UK citizens.
Through applying an extra ‘right-to-reside’ test it is alleged that Britain could have prevented migrants working and living in the UK from claiming some benefits.
The Commission believes thousands of migrants could have missed out on benefits such as child tax credit through the allegedly discriminatory test.
Pretty gutless our governments seem to be in these modern days, quite happy to invade countries but won’t stand up to the EU and say if we don’t want to give benefits to immigrants we won’t.

Eighteen people have been arrested following a major European operation targeting suspected people smuggling gangs. At around 5:00am 22th May, around 120 immigration and police officers from Immigration Enforcement and Kent Police carried out simultaneous raids on addresses in London, Luton and Essex.
Eleven people were arrested on suspicion of conspiring to assist with illegal immigration. At the same time raids also took place in France and Germany. Seven people were arrested in France.

The arrests were the conclusion of a joint investigation involving Border Agency officers, Kent Police, the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA), Europol and French and German law enforcement agencies.
Those arrested are suspected of being part of an alleged criminal network believed to assist Sri Lankan illegal immigrants attempting to reach the UK by smuggling them in vehicles through the channel ports. Some would also travel onwards from the UK to North America using false documents. It is believed clients could be charged around £4,500 to reach the UK from France.

Those arrested in the UK were taken to a police station in Kent to be questioned. In addition, computers, documents, cash and mobile phones were seized from a number of addresses and will now be examined.
Three people have since been charged with conspiring to facilitate illegal immigration. They are:
38-year-old Kamalanesan Kandiah, of Balmoral Drive, Hayes;
50-year-old Chubramaniam Vignarajah, of Aurelia Road, Croydon; and
46-year-old Armajit Singh Mudhar, of Brick Lane, Northolt.

Two suspects were charged with the same offence yesterday and a further six bailed to return to a police station on a date in July pending further enquiries.

Eighty-five year old woman handcuffed, bundled into the back of a van for shouting abuse.

mosqueAn 85-year-old woman arrested outside Gillingham Mosque after allegedly hurling abuse at Muslims has been charged with a racially aggravated public order offence.
The pensioner, of Port Rise, Chatham, was handcuffed and taken away in a van by officers after trouble flared as worshippers left Friday prayers.
The woman has now been released on police bail ahead of an appearance at Medway Magistrates’ Court at a date to be confirmed.
There was a time when this old lady would have been told to move along for shouting abuse not handcuffed and bundled into a van, perhaps the police thought she was going to ‘slug it out’ with them. No action appears to have been taken against the two Muslim youths shouting back.

o-DONKEYS-KILLED-PENSIONER-570A disabled pensioner has died after he was dragged off his scooter by two donkeys – which then trampled and bit him so viciously that when his body was found it was believed he had been mauled by wolves.
Sandor Horvath, 65, was chased and pulled off the scooter at a farm in Magyarszecsod, Hungary. His mutilated remains were found by the farm owner who called the police, believing his friend had been attacked by wild dogs.
But a postmortem revealed the injuries had been inflicted by donkeys, and police who pieced together the evidence said it appeared that the animals had chased the geezer and dragged him off the scooter before killing him.
The farmer’s daughter Csikos Darda said: “I had noticed that the donkeys were becoming increasingly aggressive and I’d asked my father to do something about it, but he’d said they were fine.”
A vet told local media: “Donkeys aren’t usually aggressive towards humans. “They probably reacted like this as they thought the victim was intruding upon their territory.”
The two donkeys will now be put down.
