Shipleys caught with 16 illegal workers

shipleysImmigration officers visited Shipleys Food Services Ltd, Upton Court Farm, Upton Court Road, at 11:20 on Friday 20th December. Individuals were questioned to check if they had the right to be in the UK.
Sixteen people were found to be working illegally,

seven Pakistani men aged between 21 and 27,
two Indian men aged 48 and 57,
three Indian women aged 33, 43 and 52,
a 38-year-old Bangladeshi woman,
a Bangladeshi man, aged 43, were found to have overstayed their visas,
a 30-year-old Pakistani man was working in breach of his visa conditions,
a 31-year-old Pakistani man was found to be a failed asylum seeker
and a partridge in a pear tree

Eight of the offenders have been transferred to immigration detention pending removal from the country. The remaining eight have been let go and supposedly will report regularly to UK Visas & Immigration pending removal from the country. Yeah right.
