Immigration officers visited Shipleys Food Services Ltd, Upton Court Farm, Upton Court Road, at 11:20 on Friday 20th December. Individuals were questioned to check if they had the right to be in the UK.
Sixteen people were found to be working illegally,
♫seven Pakistani men aged between 21 and 27,♫
♫two Indian men aged 48 and 57,♫
♫three Indian women aged 33, 43 and 52,♫
♫a 38-year-old Bangladeshi woman,♫
♫a Bangladeshi man, aged 43, were found to have overstayed their visas,♫
♫a 30-year-old Pakistani man was working in breach of his visa conditions,♫
♫a 31-year-old Pakistani man was found to be a failed asylum seeker♫
♫and a partridge in a pear tree♫
Eight of the offenders have been transferred to immigration detention pending removal from the country. The remaining eight have been let go and supposedly will report regularly to UK Visas & Immigration pending removal from the country. Yeah right.
