The ‘Old Bill’ are hunting for a man who threatened staff with a gun and stole money from an Ashford, Kent shop. The armed raid took place at the Co-Op, in Faversham Road, just as the store was closing.
The robber is reported to have pointed a handgun at a staff member and demanded money.
About £140 was handed over and the man left the store at around 10pm last Thursday. Last Thursday, a whole week before the police decide to release a cctv image. Cold trail or what.

Police released a CCTV image of the wanted man in the hope someone will recognise him. Recognise him, the image shows a filled out anorak with no one in it!
Anyway the man is described as 6ft, stocky and was wearing a dark padded jacket, white trainers and dark jogging bottoms. Some hope of finding him.

Meanwhile in Ireland

Three illegal workers have been arrested at a Downpatrick takeaway following an operation by an enforcement team who visited Tikka Town takeaway on St. Patrick’s Avenue Downpatrick on 21st November at 18:15. A Nepalese man aged 33 and a 36-year-old Indian man who were found to have overstayed their visas were arrested. Both are currently in detention while steps are taken to remove them from the country.
Another Nepalese man aged 24 found working without permission, was stopped from working and let go supposedly to report back regularly. That’s if he can be arsed to do it.
