Amazon using slaves

amazonApparently Amazon, the online company not the jungle, makes its staff work under “unbelievable” pressure in “slave camp” conditions, with employees at their warehouses having to walk 11 miles in a shift and collect orders every 33 seconds, an investigation has found.

At least the ‘slaves’ will be able to escape by hiding in all that empty space available in those massive cardboard boxes they send their goods out in.

Three illegals caught in Morecombe.

curryleafImmigration officers visited the Curry Leaf restaurant, Marine Road, Morecombe at 18:45 on Thursday 21st November. Individuals were questioned to check if they had the right to be in the UK.
The officers arrested three Bangladeshi men who were believed to be working illegally. Two of the men, aged 34 and 53, had both overstayed their visas and a third man, aged 33, had entered the country illegally.
