Fifteen immigrants were found in a tanker carrying a food powder on the P&O ferry Spirit of France as it arrived at Dover from Calais yesterday (10th July).

The alarm was raised at 8.45am when the P&O ferry Spirit of France arrived at the Eastern Docks from Calais. A full-scale emergency operation swung into action – with six fire crews and specialist equipment rushing to help with the rescue operation. They probably just opened up the tanker and let them out. The video clip I saw sees the group strolling along with blankets around them having achieved their goal of reaching the UK.
