“Romanian Foreign Minister Titus Corlatean expressed frustration at reports which stereotype Romanians as criminals or scroungers”.

mansion built with our benefitsA Romanian couple have been sentenced to 15 months jail at Canterbury Crown Court, Kent for money laundering offences.
Ion Rostas, 34, and his ‘trouble and strife’ (wife) Sedra Horbas, 35, from Romania, were arrested in Dover on October 31st 2010, a year and a half ago can you Adam and Eve that how the wheels of justice grind very slowly, they were trying to board a ferry for France in a Vauxhall Vectra. At Dover Eastern Docks they were searched by a police officer and Horbas was found to have more than £22,000 in a bag containing four bundles of banknotes shoved up her skirt.
The pair claimed they’d been saving the money for several years to buy a house in Romania. However that didn’t wash with the boys in blue and they were subsequently arrested on suspicion of money laundering.
The court heard that Rostas and Horbas had fraudulently obtained state benefits including child benefit, child tax credit, housing benefit and council tax benefit whilst living here aided by another Romanian couple living in London. This other couple helped more than 170 of their fellow nationals illegally claim £2.9m in benefits by providing them with fake documents that got them national insurance numbers which enabled them to claim benefits.
This pair of ‘toe rags’ also received prison sentences. Alin Enachi was jailed for two years and eight months and his girlfriend Lavinia Olmazu was jailed for two years and three months.

UKBA Border Agency split

I’m sure I read somewhere that UKBA are to be split in two to make it more efficient. I wouldn’t bank on that as for the last two weeks they have been repeating reports of arrests on their email newsletter. That’s either to make their arrest figures look 100% better or a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. It doesn’t bode well for the future.

We need more workers

According to the government employees will need to remain in their jobs until the age of 70 because Britain is running out of workers. What a load of old cobblers we have over three million out of work plus a couple of million on part-time hours so why do we need more foreigners in our country living in our houses and straining our infrastructure.
