gardenstreetSix immigration offenders have been arrested following a raid in Dewsbury.
Home Office immigration enforcement officers visited a residential address in Garden Street around 08:00 on Thursday 4th April 2013.
Checks revealed that six Pakistani men were in the UK illegally having all overstayed their visas.
Three of them aged 29, 45 and 55 are currently in immigration detention while the Home Office takes steps to remove them from the country.
A further three aged 36, 41 and 45 have been placed on immigration bail while their cases are progressed. If they are found to have no right to remain in the UK they will also face removal, that’s if they can be found again.
A seventh man found living in the house, a 49-year-old Pakistani who was not arrested, has also been placed on immigration bail while his case is progressed. How can someone not arrested be put on bail?
