….and again!
Unbelievable, Kent Mart stores caught for the third time employing illegal workers!

On this occasion six illegal workers have been caught following UK Border Agency raids at three shops in Kent. Acting on intelligence received UK Border Agency officers targeted three Kent Mart stores on 14th March.
The first visit was to Kent Mart, Leysdown on Sea, Sheerness where officers checked the immigration status of the staff and found three men working illegally.
A 28-year-old from Sri Lanka was working in breach of his visa conditions. Two from India and aged 34 and 33, were found not to have left the UK when their visas expired.
The Sri Lankan and the 34 year-old remain in immigration detention pending their removal from the UK. The second man from India was granted immigration bail while his case is considered by the agency. Probably starts working Monday at some other Kent Mart shop.

A second visit by officers to a Kent Mart store in Lunsford Lane, Larkfield, Aylesford, revealed a 35-year-old man from India working illegally after checks showed he had not left the UK when his visa expired. He remains in immigration pending his removal from the UK.

Later the same day officers went to Kent Mart in Marden, where officers checked the immigration status of the staff and found two men – a 23-year-old from India and a Sri Lankan aged 38 – who have cases outstanding with the agency but who have no permission to work in the UK.

Remember this?

Had this gem turn up on my comment box today from an Immigration Solicitor in Chelmsford.

“Today, while I was at work, my cousin stole my apple ipad and tested to see if it can survive a forty foot drop, just so she can be a youtube sensation. My apple ipad is now destroyed and she has 83 views. I know this is entirely off topic but I had to share it with someone!”

Kent mart still doing the same thing. Employing people have no visa and pay less than minimum wages cash in hand with out paying any tax or national insurance contributions. At the moment every shop has illegal workers start from Rochester high street shop.
It is so interesting why no one get any action for breaching the low against this employer. …. Or the officers are kept quite with his money??????,,,,,,

The Border Agency have stopped reporting on illegal worker raids so either they aren’t carrying out any or they do not want the public to know just how many businesses are employing the illegals.
