Blackpool day out nets 6 illegal workers.

Another UK Border Agency trip to the seaside saw six people arrested for immigration offences, this time in Blackpool on 30th October 2012.

At Bargain Booze, Central Dive in Blackpool they found a 25-year-old Pakistani man who had overstayed his visa and a 27-year-old Sri Lankan man who was working in breach of his student visa. Both men were working illegally and arrested at the scene. At the residential premises attached two Sri Lankan men aged 32 and 34 both had visas that had expired and consequently were arrested and detained.

At the Welbeck Hotel, Queens Promenade in Blackpool a 27-year-old Pakistani man was arrested for working in breach of his student visa.

Later officers also targeted Ladies Fashion, Bond Street in Blackpool and caught a 69-year-old Pakistani man who had no right to remain in the UK. He was arrested and along with the other men remains in detention pending his removal from the UK.
