Nine illegal workers caught in Essex

TOWIE The Only Way Is Essex becomes NICWIE Nine Illegals Caught Working in Essex

Nine people have been arrested for immigration offences following two separate raids on businesses in Barking and Ilford, Essex.

UKBA officers visited Cleaner the Betta Ltd on Ley Street in Ilford at around 13:15 on Wednesday 26th September, where three Pakistani nationals, all males aged 56, 24 and 23 were arrested. Two were in the country illegally having over-stayed their visas, the other is believed to have entered the UK illegally. All three were detained pending their removal from the UK.

The next day at around 12:00, officers visited Kamros Cash N Carry on Fir House, Creek Road in Barking. Checks revealed that six staff members were working illegally. Four Pakistani men aged 23, 28, 30 and 56, one Nigerian woman, aged 25, and a 29-year-old Indian man were all found to be in the UK illegally having over-stayed their visas. So much for Ed Miliband’s one-nation party what he means is Labour is the party that let in people from many nations. All six were detained and now face removal.

Meanwhile in the leafy suburbs two illegal workers were arrested during a raid in Tunbridge Wells.

Acting on a tip-off officers went to Lipsmackers in Liptraps Lane on 27th September. Immigration checks were made on staff and two men aged 31 and 23 from Turkey were found to be in the UK illegally. One had failed to leave the country after his visa expired, the other had entered the UK illegally. Both were arrested and remain detained by us pending their removal.
