Another 7 illegal immigrants caught

I’m used to reporting raids on businesses where illegal workers are continually being found but it seems raids are being carried out on private houses too with equally successful results. Perhaps members of the public have started to grass up houses that are obviously full of illegals.

Acting on intelligence and with assistance from the Metropolitan police’s Norbury safer neighbourhood team, officers visited three addresses in London Road around 00:00 on Friday 25th May.
They arrested Pakistani males aged 28, 37, 48, and 50; a 24-year-old Afghan male, a 38-year-old Indian male and a 41-year-old Sri Lankan male.

The Sri Lankan, Afghan and the Pakistanis aged 48 and 50 were all found to be failed asylum seekers. Three have been detained pending their removal from the UK, while the 50-year-old has been granted immigration bail enabling him to ‘scarper’ (Scapa Flow, to go) to some other house full of illegals. The Indian and Pakistanis aged 28 and 37 were found to have overstayed their visas and are also in immigration detention.

NOTE: I know I’m always banging on about illegals on bail making a run for it but it is backed up by statistics. Internal Home Office figures show that last year 1,665 immigration detainees were granted bail, of whom 277 later absconded.

But as fast as we ship illegals out more are fraudulently queuing up to take their places.

Nineteen London bound visa applicants have been arrested in Bangladesh following a joint operation involving UKBA and Bangladeshi police. The group were arrested on suspicion of fraud at the UK Border Agency in Dhaka.
The applicants were suspected of providing forged documentation and false bank statements with their business visitor visa applications to attend the Boishaki Mela in East London as stall holders which was held a few weeks ago. The Boishakhi Mela takes place every year to celebrate Bengali New Year and this is the 14th year of celebration in Weavers Field and Brick Lane, London area.

The Bangladeshi police discovered that the applicants had misrepresented their employment status.
The group admitted that they had paid agents up to £10,000 each to get forged documents such as bank statements.

With nineteen potential illegals caught entering the UK to attend this festival one can only dread how many are going to enter for the Olympics never to return from whence they came.

Here’s a bit of nonsense from the lunatic asylum called Britain

IlieAccording to Dr Jeanne Keay, of Roehampton University thousands of children are unable to throw and catch a ball because schools and parents are neglecting basic physical skills.
Dr Keay blames poorly trained primary school teachers failing to give effective physical education lessons. Maybe if parents were not encouraged by the government to dump their ‘saucepan lids’ (kids) into schools as early as 3 years old, soon to be 2 years old if Clegg gets his way, it would enable parents to have more time with their kids to teach them throwing and catching a ball.

Grandiose scheme goes pear shaped

A £71m scheme to give police officers and staff a smartphone and other devices to cut paperwork has yielded just £600,000 in savings instead of the predicted £125m. Another waste of taxpayers money as the elderly and vulnerable face nose diving quality of life due to austerity cuts.

Government chucks green policy out of the window as car road tax revenue falls

According to the Daily Telegraph government officials have begun private discussions with the motoring industry and drivers’ groups about an overhaul of the Vehicle Excise Duty (VED) rules.
The talks come as ministers try to prevent a fall in tax revenues as more motorists choose smaller, cleaner cars that incur a lower rate of duty.
