Eight illegals workers in one restaurant

Posted: March 15, 2012 in British jobs for British workers, Law & Disorder

We’ve had seven illegal workers caught at MAC RK Precision Engineering Ltd on the Bridge Road industrial estate, Southall, seven at the Ashoka restaurant in Nolton Street, Bridgend.

But the record currently stands at twelve illegal workers who were arrested at sandwich-making factory, Devi Foods on the Dokal Industrial Estate, Hartington Road, Southall.

But jumping into second place is the Spice Mill in Grandholm Village, Bridge of Don, Aberdeenshire raided at 17:30 on Friday 9th March 2012.

After the immigration status of staff were checked, 8 Bangladeshi men were found working illegally at the restaurant. Six men have been detained pending their removal from the UK, while the other 2 must report regularly unless of cause they scarper.

The restaurant was closed following the operation, as there were no staff left to run it.

So the illegal worker league table currently stands at:

Devi Foods on the Dokal Industrial Estate, Hartington Road, Southall with 12 illegal workers

Spice Mill in Grandholm Village, Bridge of Don Aberdeenshire, with 8 illegal workers

MAC RK Precision Engineering Ltd on the Bridge Road industrial estate, Southall and

Ashoka restaurant in Nolton Street, Bridgend joint third with 7 each.

Hosepipe ban

Apparently every police force could have access to a water cannon within months as police chiefs vow to prevent a repeat of last summer’s riots. Senior officers are demanding the ‘valuable’ crowd control weapons, previously deployed by UK police only in Northern Ireland, and the Government (the taxpayer) has said it will foot the bill.

Hold up though don’t they know there is a drought order coming into force banning hose pipes and the like.
