IlieA convicted sex offender from Lithuania has been deported yet again after he was caught by officers attempting to sneak into the country at Fishguard.

The 27-year-old man was jailed at Aylesbury Crown Court for 13 months last year after being convicted of a sex attack and an assault on a woman.

On his release from prison, he was deported to Lithuania on 7th June this year and banned from returning to the UK but under three weeks later in the early hours of 26th June, advance checks made on passengers due to arrive on a ferry from Ireland revealed that the sex offender was aboard the ship. Did it take him three weeks to go right around the world and sneak in the back door to UK.

Officers intercepted the man on arrival in Fishguard. He was arrested and taken to Haverfordwest police station before being transferred to an immigration removal centre. He was removed to Lithuania on Wednesday 29 June. Keep your eyes open for this one ‘he’ll be back’.

It’s not just the Weller family that have problems with supermarket goods.

IlieSupermarket chain Asda has ordered an investigation in claims of a toenail being found in one of its pizzas.

Shereena Pengelly claims she was having dinner at her sister’s house in Kemsley when her brother-in-law discovered the toenail in the Chosen By You deep pan pepperoni pizza at about 5.30pm last Wednesday.

Miss Pengelly took it back to Asda’s store in Mill Way, Sittingbourne, the following day.

Theres a simple answer to the ‘revolving door Lithuanian’ Lock him up for 12 months and then deport him with the promise of 3 years if he comes back.
A friend of mine who was deported from the USA for overstaying his visa was told that to go back within 5 years would earn him 6 months………he didn’t go back !

A sound policy but unfortunately we haven’t a government with guts to implement such a good idea.
