Shabana Tabassam, 38, was found guilty of misconduct by the Nursing and Midwifery Council but escaped punishment after struggling with ‘cultural and language differences’.

A man who tried to slice a puppy’s ear off following a tiff with his girlfriend has been jailed.

Wasim, of Kirkstone Avenue in Dalton, was jailed for 20 weeks after he was found guilty by Huddersfield magistrates yesterday after a trial.
