Remember this advert?

I have trouble picking up a penguin these days as they seem to have shrunk drastically. This is their latest offering misrepresented as ‘original’ how can it be original when it is a fraction of the original size.

Companies are beginning to take the consumer for mugs, big packets with hardly anything in, like crisps and pringles, or reducing the size of products but not the price.

It’s about time the consumer started to boycott such blatant rip-offs!

Mind you there was a time the Weller household wouldn’t purchase anything with ‘made in China’ on it. Alas nowadays it is virtually impossible to achieve this but we still try.
