The perfect getaway

IlieThree balaclava-clad robbers smashed into a showroom in Altrincham, Greater Manchester, late last Thursday night and stole three motorcycles worth a total of £17,000.

Officers who saw them escaping radioed their inspector but were told that because the thieves were not wearing crash helmets or protective clothing it would be unsafe to pursue them.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said the national policy on the pursuit of motorbikes had been followed. One of the vehicles has since been recovered and two men, aged 24 and 26, were arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle on Friday. They have since been released on bail pending further inquiries until 10 September.

So there you have it, if you want to commit robbery or drive-by shooting use a motorcycle and don’t wear a crash helmet.

IlieBy the way you all must have read about ToffTory/LibDim ousting old people from their homes, because they have too many rooms for their needs, to make way for immigrants with large families.

Well, figures show nearly 250,000 Britons own two properties and experts predict the second home boom will continue this year.

So ‘Downing Street David’ how about reducing that number before you drive old people to suicide because they can’t face the upheaval to one bedroomed flats in crime ridden tower blocks.
